100-0!???!!!

Where is the accountability for the money being spent?  Where is any dissent on the National ID database and National ID card?  Couldn't any Democrat have voted "Nay"?

I know there are tons of other things to fight (nuclear option, Bolton, etc.), but I just can't believe that every Democratic Senator voted for this pile of steaming excrement.

The vote on the Iraq Supplemental Appropriation could come as soon as tomorrow (10-May-2005), and it has the Real ID Act buried within it.  Maybe, if the Senate's fax machines all melt down, we can stop Real ID.  This Act will:

  * Establish a national ID database
  * Suspend habeus corpus
  * Do nothing to stop terrorism
