BO wins. HRC helps BO w/ Jewish Voters. Dkos still pisses on her.

Wed Jun 04, 2008 at 11:05:45 AM PDT

It is amazing that Obama has won and a segment of the Dkos Hillary hater Derangement crowd is still pissing on her. This hubris that he doesn't need  her or her supporters after she won 18 million votes and the majority of the last few primaries is astonishing.

SUSA: Obama takes big Hit in OH, MO, KY matchups

Wed Mar 19, 2008 at 01:10:43 PM PDT

Looks like we are seeing the fallout extend to the state level:

LAT Poll: Hillary solidly ahead tops Obama against all Republicans

Wed Jan 23, 2008 at 10:26:26 PM PDT

Another poll showing how the myth of Obama's grand electability, is just that -- a myth.

First the results nationally among Democrats:

La Times/Bloomberg Poll

SUSA California: Obama LEAST electable.

Wed Jan 23, 2008 at 02:08:44 PM PDT

It's polls like these -- numerous ones (especially in key swing states like PA and OH) that show Hillary doing much better in head to head match ups than Obama that make me laugh when people keep saying how "electable" Obama is.

Olberman's show Hijacked by Drivel

Wed Dec 19, 2007 at 09:41:52 AM PDT

Let me start this off by saying I like Allison Stewart and love Keith Olberman. It's the only show I can go to that actually talks about important issues like the FISA immunity crap and Bush's Neanderthal torture chamber administration.

(Note: I don't typically post diary rants but this needs to be said)

Hillary mops Obama in NY

Mon Dec 17, 2007 at 11:00:47 AM PDT

Since we've had to endure a weekend of "Obama" is "surging in NY" diaries, I thought I'd share the new Q-Poll that shows Hillary INCREASING her lead in NY.

Clinton increases lead over Benito Giuliani in OH, PA & FL

Wed Oct 10, 2007 at 08:43:36 AM PDT

Some interesting results from the latest Quinnipiac poll on Clinton if she does become the Democratic nominee. While I'm personally undecided (though have been leaning towards Senator Clinton in the last few months), this is still some nice results:

Gallup: Clinton extending lead over Obama

Mon Aug 06, 2007 at 11:28:50 PM PDT

I have to admit I've been amazed at how the most vocal bloggers on here are anti-Hillary and the venom strewed upon her. And then when I talk to average Democratic friends, family, etc., they talk glowingly of Hillary.

WAPO Lying Again about Democratic Congressional Approval

Wed Jul 25, 2007 at 06:18:15 PM PDT

The Washington Post has once again decided to take it upon itself to leave out important facts and totally mischaracterize its latest polling on Congress. According to the article, they inserted this gem:

Carville Endorses Rigging DNC Chair Elections

Tue Dec 26, 2006 at 03:38:43 PM PDT

If you want a behind the scenes look into the Carville Dean Rahm feud this past election, Ryan Lizza of GQ has a juicy little article with morsels of beltway bullshit and behind-the-scene nuggets.

Ann Richards: "How to be a Good Republican"

Thu Sep 14, 2006 at 07:45:39 PM PDT

The death of Ann Richards really hit home with me. A great lady with a fire and passion that only comes around, if we're lucky, a few times a generation.

I was perusing the web and I came across this list from Ann (that was likely written during the Clinton years) which is so so true and still very relevant today.

And it further shows what a smart, special lady she was that will be sorely missed:

Pelosi rocked on Letterman Tonight. Don't miss it.

Tue Aug 22, 2006 at 09:53:07 PM PDT

I know many among us have issues, from time to time, with Nancy Pelosi, but credit must be given where credit is due and she really hit it out of the ballpark on Letterman tonight.

None of the usual awkward moments politicians often have on these late-night comedy shows. She came across really really well and with a MESSAGE!

Leave KFC, Wendy's, Starbucks and McDonald's alone!!!!

Sat Jun 17, 2006 at 09:31:28 PM PDT

It's late Saturday night and this falls into consumer politics so I just figured I'd share.

I've just about had all I can take of these "consumer groups" pressuring fast food restaurants to change their menus around!!!!!

I'm very health conscious and my diet is low-fat/low-carb (protein shakes, lots of water) bike almost daily and work out.

But, I like my fast food every once in awhile. I like it greasy and gooey and yummy and delicious. Now we have some consumer group suing fast food places as if they have nothing better to do.

Do you agree with the Actions of these Consumer Groups?

Donna Brazile marginalizing Gays at the DNC

Thu Apr 13, 2006 at 02:29:09 PM PDT

I never liked Donna Brazile much, but after reading this e-mail received by Ben Smith at the Daily Politics, I REALLY don't like her.

It gets even more disturbing below...

The sky is NOT falling. Why we can win. (w/ Update)

Fri Dec 09, 2005 at 02:45:30 PM PDT

I've noticed over the past few days diaries filled with anger and worry over the right-wing attack on our beloved Dr. Dean, stemming from a comment he made which the Repugs, as usual, took totally out of context. The fear that we are being Branded as "retreat and defeat" and everyone is PANICKED!!!

Fucking relax and chill for a second

First off, the RadicalRightTM needs to make someone on our side the "boogeyman" for a few days because attempts on distinguished Democrats like John "Jack" Murtha simply backfired. So, they attack Dean.  Some myopic and weak-kneed Democrats joined the cry for a few days.  Fuck them and let's move on. Let's put things in perspective.

More below the fold:

TWO states will join IA & NH in Dem Primary

Sat Oct 01, 2005 at 02:04:04 PM PDT

(From the diaries. I'll definitely have thoughts on this once I digest the details -- kos)

For all those waiting to see how the primary calendar would change based on the infamous primary re-vamp commission, here's the latest:

Saturday Oct 1, 2005. Associated Press

Dems to Add Contests to 2008 Calendar

Democrats trying to change their party's presidential primary for 2008 agreed Saturday to allow at least two other states to join Iowa and New Hampshire in voting during the opening days of the nominating campaign.

That expansion, debated before a commission considering changes in the primary calendar, is intended to provide more racial and geographic diversity to an opening process now dominated by Iowa and New Hampshire. Those states, representing about 1.5 percent of the country's population, have residents who are mostly white.

The additional states, expected to be named later, were likely to include a smaller state from the South and a smaller state from the Southwest or West.
